Designs can include graphics, artwork, cartoons, or just text. It has to be funny, and you can poke fun at any politician or group you would like.
Entries will be posted on http://TShirtKing.com where the public can vote for the ones they like the best. One or more winners will be offered a royalty of $1 for each and every shirt sold, with a $100 advance payment to begin.
“This is not just a little bit of cash for the winning designs, this is a royalty contract for the life of the idea or design. T-Shirt King will market the winning designs online and offline. If your funny idea is really funny, the money could be big and it could be rolling in for years to come,” said Broadbent.
There could easily be a large number of winners, because Broadbent wants as many good designs as he can find.
“If your idea goes on to sell thousands of t-shirts, you will get thousands of dollars,” said Broadbent. “If it sells ten's of thousands of t-shirts then you get ten's of thousands of dollars. Hundreds of thousands of t-shirts sold… well, I think you get the idea. Now, wouldn't that be nice?”
You do not have to be a comedian or the class clown to win. You also do not have to be an experienced artist or designer.
“If you can just explain your idea we can put the right people to work on it to make it a reality if you are selected,” said Broadbent.
Entries can also be designated to benefit the non-profit group of your choice.
“What a great fundraiser for your organization. Get all your members together and have a t-shirt party. With lots of creative minds working together you are sure to come up with some great ideas. Send your best ones to us, and maybe your idea will be selected. If it is, just think of the wonderful benefits for your group,” said Broadbent.
Entries can be submitted by going to http://TShirtKing.com, and anyone can go to the site and vote for the designs they like the best.
